At the heart of the room is the large, open shower area, complete with twin rainfall and handheld shower heads in matte black, recessed storage niches, and full-width terrazzo-style tiles. Subtle LED lighting runs vertically down the accent wall and beneath the heated towel rail, highlighting the multicoloured flecks and adding a contemporary feel. The concealed toilet, tucked neatly beneath its own set of illuminated niches, maintains the bathroom’s streamlined look.
The double vanity unit provides generous storage while the large illuminated mirror above enhances both space and light. The wall-mounted fittings and floating cabinetry allow for easy everyday living while contributing to the open, airy feel of the design. Marble-effect wall tiles throughout add elegance and depth, visually expanding the space without overwhelming it.
Style
The smooth, high-gloss marble walls contrast beautifully with the playful terrazzo tile flooring, which incorporates natural tones of rust, blue, black and beige for a touch of character. Matte black accents throughout add definition, while carefully integrated lighting softens the scheme. It’s a sophisticated design that balances statement features with everyday functionality.

“With this project, the goal was to create something that felt both high-impact and highly functional. The monochrome palette gave us a beautiful foundation to work from, and by layering in texture—through terrazzo-style tiles, marble-effect walls and carefully integrated lighting—we were able to bring the whole scheme to life. The floating vanity, open shower and recessed niches all work together to keep the space feeling calm and uncluttered, while the matte black accents add just the right amount of edge. It’s a design that makes a statement without sacrificing usability.”
